CRÂZNIC & ASOCIAȚII at Women in Law Conference 2026 – Vienna

From 10–12 September 2026, CRÂZNIC & ASOCIAȚII will participate in the 7th International Women in Law Conference, hosted at the University of Vienna – Faculty of Law (Juridicum).

Our firm will be represented by Flavius Crâznic, Managing Partner, at one of the leading international events bringing together members of the legal profession, academia and international legal organisations to discuss equality, leadership, diversity and the advancement of women in law.

This year’s conference theme is:

“Women’s Rights are Human Rights: From Backlash to Equity 2.0”

Across three days, the conference addresses key issues including the protection of women’s rights, access to justice, inclusive leadership, diversity within the legal profession, the role of allies in advancing equality, and the impact of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence on gender equality.

A highlight of this year’s programme is the Justitia Awards Gala, taking place on 11 September 2026 in Vienna.

Dr. Stephanie Boyce made history in 2021 when she became the first Black person and the first Black woman to serve as President of the Law Society of England and Wales, as well as only the sixth woman to hold this position.

In 2026, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the legal profession, diversity and access to justice, Dr. Stephanie Boyce was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
