I have had a great few days in Chicago representing The Law Society of England and Wales at the American Bar Association Annual Conference. – Mark Evans,President at The Law Society of England and Wales
Joined by The Bar Council of England and Wales, the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland and The Law Society of Northern Ireland the UK turned up in force to show support and solidarity with our US friends and its legal community. We were not alone, as it It was great to see so many international Bar Leaders at the Conference as well.
So many highlights from the Roundtable discussions to the Gala Dinner, but the 250th Anniversary showcase plenary was special. The panel included Judges from the UKSupremeCourt, including its President, Lord Robert Reed, and the first Justice of the Supreme Court to come from Wales, Lord David Lloyd-Jones.🏴
