“Speak my name in rooms I am not in.”

Name someone. This week. In a room where they are not in. Put someone’s name forward for an opportunity, a role, a speaking opportunity, a board position, something they might not yet put themselves forward for. Not because they’re not ready, but because they don’t yet know they are.

This the one act that most changed the course of my own life, when someone, somewhere, said my name in a room I was not in. Be that person for someone else.
