Colombia and Ecuador may soon have new constitutions.

Presidents in both countries have launched a process to convene a Constituent Assembly.

(The Colombian Constitution is 34 years old; the Ecuadorean Constitution is 17 years old.)

First image shows a group of eight professionals standing together in a conference room holding books some wearing formal suits and dresses with a white wall and wooden furniture behind them. Second image depicts three individuals seated at a table during a panel discussion one woman speaking with a laptop in front of her men on either side in suits with glasses of water on the table. Third image features a woman in white attire gesturing while speaking at a desk with bookshelves laptops water bottles and a microphone visible in an office setting.

I learned a lot about constitution-making processes in both countries at a seminar featuring leading experts
