Mark becomes the third Welsh president in our 200-year history. 🏴
Mark says, “I’m honoured to serve as Law Society president as we round out our bicentenary year.
“I look forward to championing the profession in England and Wales and demonstrating to the next generation that there’s a place for them in the legal sector.
“I’ll also encourage our members to look to the future with aspiration, confidence and optimism.”
With over 28 years’ working in property and private client law and four years as a lecturer, Mark brings extensive experience of the legal profession. 👏
Throughout his presidency, Mark will focus on:
⚖️ Making sure the legal profession is fit for the future, by continuing to inspire the next generation and enhancing the quality of legal education and training.
⚖️ Championing our members both at home and abroad, so that solicitors from all walks of life can shape the decisions that affect their day-to-day practice.
⚖️ Having critical discussions with sector partners to champion solicitor wellbeing, making sure solicitors can access the support they need to thrive.
We’re looking forward to working alongside Mark to continue to support the future of the legal profession.
