On the occasion of the CCBE Standing Committee, the CCBE calls for the swift signature and ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of the Profession of Lawyer.
The CCBE urges the EU and all States to act promptly in endorsing and implementing this vital Convention. Protecting lawyers is essential — not only for the legal profession but also for the integrity of justice and the rule of law.
