September 22, 2025 is marked by legal education activities at the “Armand Calinescu” Technological High School in Pitesti. At the invitation of the teachers and students, Judge Rebeca Ion from the Court of Appeal in Pitesti discussed themes such as violence, abuse, human trafficking, drug use, as well as other issues of interest for the younger generation.
The interest in the organization and functioning of justice, and legal professions is at a high level for the future of adolescents.

The Legal Education Project in Arges (Pilot) began in 2015 at the initiative of the British news agency News247WorldPress-Justice News247 in partnership with local authorities and the Court of Appeal in Pitesti. In 2019, the Court of Appeal in Pitesti signed, with the magistrates’ consent, the continuation of activities together with the initiator, so that all educational institutions in the county and neighboring areas benefit from free legal education.
We thank our partner, the Court of Appeal in Pitesti, teachers, and students for their interest
in legal education, and the temporary and tireless judge, Rebeca Ion.
