Sanda Ghimpu’ Amphitheater of the Ecological University of Bucharest, 1G Doina Cornea Boulevard, Sector 6, Bucharest, the National Conference on Labor Law and Social Security, Prof. univ. dr. Sanda Ghimpu, with the theme ‘Legislative and Jurisprudential News in Labor Law and Social Protection’.

The conference aims to address two fundamental themes for the dynamics of the labor force and work relations, highlighting the legislative and social challenges currently faced by employees and employers. The first panel discusses topics related to retirement and salary, focusing on the possibility of combining a pension with a salary. Participants will explore the legal implications of these situations, existing restrictions and prohibitions, as well as analyses regarding flexibility in the labor market. The second panel discusses phenomena of discrimination and harassment in the workplace, providing a detailed perspective on legislation and employers’ obligations to prevent and combat these practices. Thus, the conference will create a framework for dialogue and understanding of these challenges, offering solutions and best practices for a fair and sustainable work environment.
