I. Stephanie Boyce FKC, FRSA: Time for justice! So thank you to #PaddingtonLawCentre for all that you and others do to enable those without the funds

Last night I returned to Paddington Law Centre, which I first visited as president, to celebrate its 50th anniversary and the incredible work it does; “providing free, specialist legal advice, casework and advocacy aimed at improving quality of life and promoting self determination for people living on the margins of society in some of the most deprived wards in West London.” Joining the celebrations was Lord Boateng, who, as a newly qualified solicitor, worked at Paddington Law Centre.

The incredible work being done by to PADDINGTON LAW CENTRE LIMITED and many more to plug the access to justice gap, which is growing and leaving many without the ability to engage with the justice system, is incredible, but like many other agencies that are heavily dependent on donations, they operate on a shoestring budget while trying to meet the needs of those with nowhere else to turn.

The scarcity of access to justice has never been as pronounced as it is today, which has led to an edifice of injustice and misery for many, and without significant funding, the gap will continue to widen. So thank you to Paddington Law Centre for all that you and others do to enable those without the funds or recourse to access their legal rights. Happy Anniversary.
