This week we welcomed the Japanese Federation of Bar Associations to London and the
CBA assisted with a visit to the Central Criminal Court – with thanks to Grace Ong of our Social Mobility Committee
who attended and HHJ Sarah Whitehouse KC and Fiona Adler at the Central Criminal Court.
Next time you are there have a look at the post-war paintings beyond Court 1 and spot the painter who painted himself in!
We plan to set up a Zoom meeting between Criminal barristers and the JFBA shortly to share our knowledge and
experience of the criminal law in England & Wales, the first will be on “adverse inferences from silence”.
Barristers who are interested in attending please email me on Tana.Adkin@criminalbar.com.
The date for this will be announced at the end of April.
