It was a pleasure to welcome Nick as our new president, as well as Richard as our vice president and Mark as our deputy vice president. At the ceremony, Nick received his presidential badge from Lubna and shared his plans for the year ahead Nick hopes to demonstrate that we are an “internationally-minded” Law Society whilst also championing the value that the profession brings locally.
In addition, Nick will continue to “campaign on legal aid deserts, highlighting the dire state of the justice system to those in power.” “…It’s more important than ever that we stand up our profession and defend the legal sector’s reputation, and above all, its integrity.” We anticipate all the incredible work Nick will undertake in his year as president!
