What are you doing on the 9th June?
I’ll be taking part in the London Legal Support Trust London Legal Walk on 9th June and I’d be delighted if you could join me, whether for part of the walk or simply to stop by, say hello, and take a photo.
I am walking this year to raise awareness of The Solicitors’ Charity and the vital wellbeing support it provides to solicitors, their families, and those who have left the profession.
The walk rightly focuses on raising funds for access to justice. But we must also recognise those who sustain that system, the people behind the profession. Supporting their wellbeing is not optional; it is essential.
In my role as Chair of The Solicitors’ Charity, I see every day the importance of ensuring that those in law are supported, particularly in challenging times. That commitment remains central to my work.
If you are attending, do come and find me at The Solicitors’ Charity stand at 1:45pm. The first 50 people will receive a pink sun visor just like mine.
