The Chair of the Bar Barbara Mills KC met with the Supreme Court Bar Association in New Delhi earlier this week and discussed the similarities and differences between our jurisdictions. Our sincere thanks to Vikas Singh, Pragya Baghel and colleagues for their generous hospitality. Today, the Bar Council of England and Wales organised a family law symposium in New Delhi. Leading family law practitioners from India and England and Wales exchanged perspectives and best practice on cross border disputes, non-court dispute resolution and financial remedies. Salman Khurshid, the former Law Minister and former External Affairs Minister of India delivered the key note address.
