I. Stephanie Boyce FKC, FRSA: “Through pro bono work, we remove barriers to access to justice in the absence of a properly funded legal aid system.”

An unwavering commitment to access to justice.

Through pro bono work, we remove barriers to access to justice in the absence of a properly funded legal aid system. We enrich lives by enabling individuals to exercise their rights. We underscore our commitment to the rule of law in ensuring a just society. We, as aspiring lawyers and lawyers, keep the wheels of justice turning, our fourth emergency service, by stepping up where the system falls short.

LawWorks & Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards took place at the House of Lords yesterday, hosted by the Attorney General. I was delighted to support the awards by being one of the judges.

These awards celebrate the outstanding pro bono contributions of law students and law schools across the UK. Congratulations to everyone for the amazing work you are doing to enable access to legal information, advice and representation.
You are all winners.
