Standing together.
I was delighted to be invited to speak in Paris at the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society’s
Global Meeting, “Reconciliation-Fostering Unity through Gender Equality”.
This annual event brings together those who appreciate and recognise the transformative power of our collective voices.
The forum created a space for reflection, dialogue, and action, where we shared experiences, exchanged best
practices, and reinforced our collective impact.
Thank you to Vanessa Bousardo and the Barreau de Paris (Ordre des avocats de Paris)
for the invitation to speak and share the stage with Charlotte Kan, Sandrine Giroud Susana
Ferrer Ouafya Sidhoum and @ronannguyen-van.
The gathering also saw the launch of an initiative, a commitment by a number of presidents and vice-presidents, both
current and past, sign a statement and come together with our allies to raise our voices and recognise “the essential role of law
as the foundation for resolving conflicts and fighting discrimination and inequality.”
To foster a constructive, positive dialogue and to share our collective vision of a world where everyone gets the same
access to opportunities, fair treatment, and the chance to thrive.
