I. Stephanie Boyce FKC, FRSA: At the invitation of #TheresaShearer FRSE I have spent the last few days in #Scotland at the Inclusion Europe #EuropeinAction2024 conference

#Firstwomen. I was delighted to join BBC Sport commentator Hazel Irvine, one of the very first female sports presenters in the country, and honorary president of Enable, a charity that empowers and enables, at its 70th anniversary dinner.

At the invitation of Theresa Shearer FRSE I have spent the last few days in Scotland at the Inclusion Europe
#EuropeinAction2024 conference. The conference’s aim is to promote a more inclusive Europe, bringing together people from across Europe with intellectual disabilities, their families, and professionals. I shared insights from my time in office and the strides made in delivering a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. I also delivered a training workshop on the importance of embedding #EDI in the workplace.

While my time in Scotland draws to a close, the work to ensure a more equitable society remains. Now more than ever, it is important to enable those levers of equity so that everyone’s voice is heard, empowered and enabled and no one is unfairly left behind.
