Deployment of an outsourced system for alerting and collecting reports of harassment and discrimination (feedback on the vote of the Council of the Order on Tuesday April 30, 2024).
This Tuesday, April 30, on the proposal of the President of the President and the Vice President of the President, the Council of the Paris Bar Association voted in favor of the deployment of an outsourced system for collecting reports of harassment and discrimination.
This alternative method of referral to the Order, entrusted to an external “trusted third party” service provider, will have the mission of receiving the reports issued, but also of allowing lawyers who wish to do so to make an anonymized report.
This new possibility does not replace the existing one but complements it, in order to allow greater freedom of speech and to deal with the “ordinal feeling of oneself” which would persist despite the deployment and reinforcement of effective and innovative tools, such as COMHADIS (the harassment and discrimination commission of the Order).
