“Can a mere apology ever erase the pain of feeling diminished, disrespected, frightened, and humiliated?” @IStephanieBoyc1

Can a mere apology ever erase the pain of feeling diminished, disrespected, frightened, and humiliated?

For every woman who has had her voice silenced for speaking her truth, stripped of her dignity because she chose to not be silent, terrorised for daring to exist, We make no apology for who we are; we will be seen and heard, and our demands for racial and economic justice and equity remain as urgent as ever.

Our words and actions have the power to uplift or diminish others; we should all be using our words and actions for the betterment of a kinder, more just world where everyone is valued, treated equally, respected, and empowered.

So let us go forward with love in our hearts and compassion in our actions to build a world where kindness prevails, empathy guides our decisions, and understanding bridges our differences.
