Today, we held another private event at Cyber Smart Academy, with our guests, top players in fields like banking, pharma, Oil&Gas, and insurance (Unicredit, ING, Tiriac, Rompetrol, Secom, Deutsche Bank, Sun Wave Pharma, BCR, Omniasig) and we also benefited from the presence of two Directoratul Național de Securitate Cibernetică – DNSC representatives, with whom Cyber Smart Academy has entered into a partnership.
Together with my colleagues from Cyber Smart Academy and the guests, we had constructive discussions on the AI Act and cybersecurity, including opportunities and risks associated with the use of AI in organizations.
The phenomenon of deep fakes in fraud schemes was also a topic of discussion, as well as the need to adapt organizational policies in line with the use of AI by employees.
Alexandru Dan, an AI specialist, presented his course, which he will launch on March 18th (very useful for understanding AI and doing smart prompt engineering). And I was glad that the first AI course attendee, Marina Dumitrescu (lawyer), came.
We never manage to conclude our discussions, but in the future (in fact, a good sign), we aim to keep our promise of having breakfast together monthly to collaboratively find explanations and solutions to the tech-related issues our guests face, as they have requested.
