On 10 January, the UK government launched its call for evidence to inform its civil legal aid review.

We welcome the government’s call for evidence and we will be responding in due course.

To form part of our response, we are facilitating the Ministry of Justice’s roundtables throughout the UK, so our members can feed directly into the government officials undertaking the review.

If you would like to share your ideas and concerns about civil legal aid reform directly with the Ministry of Justice, you can find out about the upcoming roundtables in January and February 2024 here: lawsociety.org.uk/topics/legal-a
