My professional profile
A solid career in the legal field

I have been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 1996 and holder of the Ciobanu Aurel Law Office, being a lawyer specialized in Criminal Law.

Since 1998 I have been a professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, PhD in Law, member of the Department of Criminal Law, in the discipline of Criminal Procedural Law. I am a founding member of the Center for Research in the Field of Criminal Sciences.

I have been working as a lecturer within I.N.P.P.A. since its establishment, also being a member of the committees for elaborating subjects in the exams for admission to the profession and graduation of I.N.P.P.A.
Since 2015 I am Counselor of the Bucharest Bar and Counselor of U.N.B.R.
Expert in several collaboration programs with the Ministry of Justice.
Lecturer accredited by ERA – Academy of European Law, specializing in International Cooperation in Criminal Matters.
