For a very long time, people have talked about justice as subservient or simply non-functional because that’s what they like to believe when they feel like it.

In all the years of legal education consumed in the company of my partners and currently through the apostolate of a modest but great man, the need for safety and functioning of justice can be found in the concern of children and, ironically, not in the case of adults.

The legal professions are in the same danger due to their indifference, contempt and lack of fear to be imprisoned or punished in the spirit of the law.

The list is opened by society being the main provider of crime followed by anyone because the order is significantly unstable: political, institutions and authorities through lawbreaking, crime, corruption and even legislative inflation.

Where and what is driving the collapse of the legal profession? The wind of underfunding blows from the ocean with a fight already started by lawyers in the UK, France complains about the problems in the history as well as those of lawyers drawn to carbon with those in Romania.

Judges are so buried in cases that sometimes the strangeness of deadlines is commented on because everyone wants their case to be tried first. Lawyers see themselves in different situations because the patience of the litigant has limits and no matter how reputable you are, you cannot cope with this type of problems long.

The alternative methods offered by arbitration do not seem trivial for lawyers and those who practice arbitration, due to significantly lower costs with the advantage of solving in reasonably shorter time than in court of law.

The money for lawyers’ and legal experts’ fees has been reduced so that no one wants coffee or subway money anymore resulting from volunteering the idea of access to justice offered by the state.

The pressure of these events could have consequences in the recruitment of future magistrates or staff and even legal practitioners.

The failure of reintegration and recidivism, together with the restrictions on the labor market regarding those released, make the system not recover at all, offering a negative example, namely that through crime and lack of education, money is made much easier.

These observations are not intended to offend, but only as an alarm signal in the recovery of legal life and a reason for professional satisfaction as a legal practitioner.
